Duties

• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to ensure patient health status is maintained.
• Support medication administration following prescribed protocols while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
• Observe and document patient conditions, behaviors, and responses to treatment using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for accurate medical documentation.
• Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease through memory care techniques and tailored activities that promote cognitive engagement.
• Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, wound dressing changes, or hospice support under supervision of nursing staff.
• Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and assist with cleaning, laundry, and light housekeeping to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
