Home Health Aide (HHA)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide exceptional in-home care to individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and health management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, including experience with senior care, developmental disabilities, and specialized medical needs such as dementia and Alzheimer's care. Duties

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring comfort and dignity.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to support ongoing health assessments.
• Support medication administration following prescribed protocols while maintaining accurate medical documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Provide specialized care for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral management.
• Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, catheters, and other assistive devices safely and effectively.
• Assist with mobility using tools like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts to prevent falls and promote independence.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living environment aligned with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate home & community care services tailored to individual needs.
