Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records as required by healthcare standards.
• Support clients with memory care activities to enhance cognitive function.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Assist with mobility and transportation needs as necessary.

Experience

• Previous experience in home care ,1year +
• Familiarity with medical documentation practices and maintaining medical records is beneficial.
• Knowledge of long-term care principles and practices is an asset.
• Ability to provide compassionate care while respecting client dignity and privacy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
