Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates using medical terminology accurately
• Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or other memory impairments, including memory care techniques
• Operate EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to document patient information precisely
• Assist with catheter care, wound care, hospice support, and other medical procedures as trained
• Use tools like the Hoyer lift safely to assist with patient transfers and mobility needs
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, cooking nutritious meals, and maintaining a safe environment
• Observe patients closely for changes in condition or behavior related to developmental disabilities or long-term health issues
• Communicate effectively with healthcare teams regarding patient status while maintaining patient confidentiality per HIPAA standards

Qualifications
