In Home Caregiver

Weekly pay and paid overtime. We are hiring In-Home Caregivers for clients in South Bend, Mishawaka, Granger, Osceola, Lakeville and New Carlisle in St. Joseph County, Indiana. Our office is at 2045 South Bend Avenue, so support and orientation are close by.

Altra Homecare Group is a community-first personal services agency. We help seniors and adults with disabilities live safely at home, and we build our schedules around long-term caregiver and client matches. Our office is in South Bend. This position is based in St Joseph County, and you will be matched to clients close to where you live.

Where and when you will work

• Client homes in South Bend, Mishawaka and Granger
• Full-time and part-time hours
• Day, evening, and weekend shifts available
• You tell us your availability and we build your schedule from there

What you will do

• Help with personal care
• Prepare light meals
• Help clients move safely
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Companionship, and conversation
• Document each visit in our mobile app and follow the care plan

What you need

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• CNA, HHA or PCA experience is welcome, not required. We train new caregivers.

Pay and benefits

• $14 to $17 per hour, based on experience and certification
• Paid weekly by direct deposit
