Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using manual handling techniques or assistive devices like Hoyer lifts.
• Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, noting changes in condition, and reporting findings in accordance with care plans and HIPAA regulations.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Support clients with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease through memory care strategies and patient observation to ensure safety.
• Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, including updates to care plans and resident’s progress notes.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning living areas to promote a healthy environment for clients.
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments or community activities, supporting social engagement and independence.
• Follow all safety protocols including first aid procedures, CPR certification requirements, and manual handling guidelines to ensure client safety at all times.
