In Home Caregiver

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Duty CNA to provide personalized care to patients in their homes or assisted living facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with varying needs, including those with disabilities and dementia. This role requires a blend of hands on skills, empathy, and the ability to work independently while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care to clients in their homes or assisted living environments.
• Provide assistance with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, light housekeeping and mobility support.
• Offer support for patients with dementia or disabilities, employing specialized techniques for effective communication and care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with family members and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
• Perform first aid when necessary, ensuring patient safety at all times.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize changes in health status.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities and providing dementia care is highly desirable.
• Proficient in first aid is required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
