Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status
• Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary requirements and assist with meal planning and cooking
• Administer medications accurately following care plans while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
• Support clients with memory care needs related to Alzheimer’s disease or dementia through specialized techniques and patience
• Use assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs to ensure safe transfers and prevent injury during heavy lifting or mobility assistance
• Conduct patient observation to identify changes in condition or behavior, reporting findings promptly to healthcare professionals
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop, implement, and update personalized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs
• Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering social engagement and mental well-being in home or community settings
