Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, documenting findings accurately to inform care plans.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as required.
• Administer medications following prescribed schedules while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
• Support clients with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer’s disease or dementia through memory care strategies and structured routines.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces.
• Follow detailed care plans created by healthcare professionals, ensuring all interventions meet established standards for quality and safety.
