Responsibilities

• Collaborate with nursing staff and care teams to monitor residents’ progress, document participation, and adjust programs to meet individual needs effectively.
• Plan special events and community outings that foster socialization and stimulate memory recall while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Provide emotional support through active listening, companionship, and encouragement to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Manage activity schedules efficiently to ensure a balanced mix of structured programming and free time for residents.
• Maintain accurate records of activities conducted, resident participation, and behavioral responses to inform ongoing care plans.

Requirements

• Prior experience in assisted living facilities or nursing homes specializing in senior care or memory care is highly preferred.
