Memory Care Aide

Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a nurturing spirit and a commitment to providing high-quality care in various settings, including assisted living facilities and private homes.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, feeding and cleaning.
• Document health information accurately.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Assist with mobility and heavy lifting as needed to ensure client safety.
• Implement first aid procedures when necessary and maintain a safe living environment.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure client confidentiality and privacy.
• Offer specialized care for clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments.

Experience

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and first aid is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with dementia care techniques is an advantage.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
• Certification in CPR is preferred but can be obtained upon hiring.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
