Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor residents’ health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly
• Assist with medication administration following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality
• Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining nutritional standards tailored to individual needs
• Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling equipment safely during transfers and mobility support
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning resident areas and ensuring infection control protocols are followed
• Document patient observations, care activities, and incident reports accurately to ensure seamless communication among team members

Requirements

• Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism or intellectual disabilities support
