Spanish private caregiver

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Spanish private caregiver to provide personalized in-home support to individuals requiring assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, including experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, and neurodevelopmental disorders. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives by delivering respectful, culturally sensitive, and comprehensive care tailored to their unique needs. The caregiver will be responsible for ensuring safety, promoting independence, and enhancing quality of life through attentive and professional support.

Duties

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, recognizing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality.
• Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring proper meal timing and portion control.
• Administer medications accurately according to care plans and document all medication-related activities diligently.
• Provide companionship and emotional support while engaging clients in meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and update individualized care plans that address specific needs related to Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, autism spectrum disorder, or other conditions.
