Caregiver

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance!

Part Time- 24 hour shift on Saturdays

We offer weekly pay!

Duties

• Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
• Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations
• Support patients with cognitive impairments by engaging in memory care activities and providing companionship
• Operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts safely during transfers
• Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning and sanitation practices
• Document patient observations, care provided, and any incidents accurately in compliance with healthcare standards

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments preferred
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
• Hands-on experience with patient monitoring, medication administration, and creating or following care plans
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
• Experience performing CPR and First Aid certifications are highly valued
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for resident transfers or mobility assistance
• Background in social work or nursing is advantageous for understanding holistic patient needs
• Proven ability to work compassionately with seniors or individuals with disabilities in long-term care settings
