Duties

• Provide attentive supervision to residents, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the day.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Support residents with meal preparation, hydration, and light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and ensure proper use of resident’s <PERSON> equipment for mobility assistance.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and social interaction during overnight hours.

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous.
• Experience with care plans development and implementation ensures personalized resident support.
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties is essential.
