Caregiver

Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a home or facility setting. This role is crucial in delivering personalized care, fostering independence, and maintaining dignity for those we serve.

Duties

• Provide compassionate personal care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Monitor patient health by observing and recording changes in condition, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting clients safely to prevent injury.
• Support clients with medication management as directed by healthcare providers.
• Ensure a safe and clean living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Uphold resident rights and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Experience

• Previous experience in senior care, home health, or hospice care is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with patient observation techniques and monitoring health conditions is beneficial.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to upholding these standards is essential.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting and assisting clients as needed.
