  • Support medical procedures by preparing patients and assisting with tasks like catheter care, wound care, or basic life support when needed.
  • Document patient information thoroughly in electronic health records (EHR) systems while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, especially in specialized areas such as geriatrics, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, or behavioral health.
  • Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients with complex needs such as memory care or those in hospice or palliative settings.
  • Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols diligently to ensure patient safety across acute and long-term care environments.

Requirements

  • Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) recognized by the state or relevant licensing authority.
