Job Summary

The CNA will provide essential care and support to patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and working closely with the nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

Essential Functions

* Patient Care: + Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. + Provide mobility assistance, including help with walking, transferring, and positioning. + Ensure patient comfort by adjusting beds, turning patients, and providing adequate hydration and nourishment. * Medical Assistance: + Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report any changes to the nursing staff. + Assist with basic medical procedures under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. + Collect specimens for lab tests as directed. * Observation and Reporting: + Monitor and document patient condition and care provided in medical records. + Report any changes in patient status or behavior to the nursing staff promptly. + Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. * Environmental Maintenance: + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment. + Assist with the cleaning and sterilization of equipment and supplies. + Ensure patient rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and linens. * Team Collaboration: + Work collab...
