Certified Nursing Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report any abnormalities to nursing staff.
• Support medication administration following proper protocols and HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain detailed medical documentation within EMR/EHR systems like Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or other relevant platforms.
• Provide specialized care for patients with conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or behavioral health needs.
• Assist with catheter care, wound care, and aseptic techniques to prevent infection.
• Support patient safety by adhering to infection control procedures and safety protocols in acute care, ICU, trauma centers, or outpatient clinics.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across various healthcare settings including pediatric (PICU), geriatric (geriatrics), or post-acute care environments.
• Educate patients and families on health management plans and discharge instructions when applicable.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations including HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards.
