CNA/HHA

Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide exceptional patient care across various settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home health environments. The ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities, dementia, or requiring hospice and memory care. Experience with electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), medical terminology, and medication administration is highly valued. Duties

• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patient health by observing vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration
• Document patient care accurately using EMR/EHR systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Support patients with medication administration and catheter care as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or other memory impairments through tailored activities and supervision
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition and hydration
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and cleaning to maintain a safe environment
• Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and assist with transfers safely
• Support hospice care patients by providing comfort measures and emotional support
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Maintain thorough medical documentation and ensure compliance with all healthcare standards
