Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts and ensuring dignity and comfort.
• Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate medical documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Administer medications safely following medical instructions and document medication administration in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide specialized care for clients with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or other memory-related conditions through tailored memory and dementia care techniques.
• Support patients with complex needs including catheter care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records while adhering to privacy standards; communicate effectively with healthcare teams regarding patient status.
