Home Health Aide

Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to inform healthcare providers.
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed instructions while maintaining compliance with home healthcare regulations.
• Support clients living with dementia or Alzheimer's disease through specialized memory care techniques and compassionate engagement.
• Provide catheter care, wound management, and hospice support to ensure comfort and safety during end-of-life care.
• Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for accurate documentation of patient care activities.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and family members to develop personalized care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations while managing medical records and documentation.

Skills
