Home Health Aide (HHA)

This position will be primarily working in the long-term care facilities.

As a member of the hospice interdisciplinary team, hospice home health aides provide regular, hands-on personal care to help patients feel better, look better and enjoy better and brighter days at the end of life. They also work independently, traveling to patients’ homes, assisted living facilities and nursing homes for regular visits and bedside care. Duties include performing a combination of light housekeeping and personal hygiene duties, including bathing, dressing, feeding, hair care and oral care for patients, changing linens, ensuring patients are comfortable, and spending time talking and listening during visits. Our aides also provide assistance to a patient's family members in caring for their loved one by instructing them on how to go about performing basic health-care routines.

Home Health Aide Certification is required.

Pay: From $18.65 per hour
