Home Health Aide (HHA)

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being, while adhering to all health and safety regulations. This role is vital in promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with medication administration as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
• Support clients with mobility and physical activities as needed.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the healthcare team.
• Uphold patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Foster a positive relationship with clients through compassionate caregiving.

Experience

• Prior experience in patient care or caregiving is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with assisted living environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• A genuine passion for helping others and providing high-quality care.
