Job Responsibilities

------------------------

As an HHA/PCA, you will provide essential personal care and daily living assistance to clients in their homes.

Responsibilities may include

• Assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Providing assistance with mobility, transfers, and walking
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry
• Providing medication reminders as permitted by the care plan
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with errands and grocery shopping when authorized
• Observing and reporting changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate supervisor
• Following individualized care plans and agency policies
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment

Qualifications

------------------

• Valid New York State HHA or PCA certification
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism
• Reliable transportation is preferred
• Previous home care experience is a plus
