Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide evening and weekend support to individuals in their homes. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and observe for any changes in health status, reporting findings accurately in care plans
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring safety and proper nutrition
• Administer medications following HIPAA guidelines and care plans, maintaining detailed documentation of medication schedules and responses
• Support clients with cognitive impairments by implementing memory care strategies and engaging them in meaningful activities
• Conduct regular patient observation to identify potential safety hazards or health concerns, ensuring a secure environment
• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space to promote comfort and hygiene
• Follow all home health protocols, including manual handling techniques and emergency procedures such as first aid or CPR when needed

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable
