Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using manual handling tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when required
• Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety and confidentiality
• Support clients with cognitive challenges by implementing memory care strategies for individuals with Alzheimer’s or dementia
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces
• Document all care activities meticulously, including patient observations, medication administration, and adherence to care plans

Requirements

* Proven experience working in homecare, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes with a focus on patient observation and direct support * Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for patient confidentiality and privacy * Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or autism spectrum conditions * Certification in CPR and First Aid; additional training in hospice or memory care is a plus * Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely; experience with Hoyer lifts is preferred * Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams *...
