Live-in Caregiver

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live In Home Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to individuals in their home. The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with disabilities and seniors, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Monitor and record vital signs as needed to ensure the health and safety of clients.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
• Support clients with mobility and transportation needs as required.
• Implement memory care techniques for clients experiencing cognitive challenges.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Communicate effectively with family members regarding client progress and any concerns that may arise.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving, senior care, or assisted living environments is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the needs of individuals with disabilities and seniors.
• Ability to perform basic health monitoring tasks, including taking vital signs.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy at all times.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes as needed.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required; training may be provided.
