Male Caregiver

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Male Caregiver to join our team, providing essential support and personalized care to individuals in various care settings. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts when necessary
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, documenting findings accurately in care plans
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed
• Administer medications following prescribed schedules while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medication administration protocols
• Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer’s care, ensuring a safe environment and engaging activities that promote cognitive health
• Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing routine cleaning tasks in accordance with health standards and facility policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing staff, social workers, and therapists to develop and implement personalized care plans

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred
