Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Night Shift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate care team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience across various healthcare settings. As a Night Shift CNA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our residents during overnight hours. This position offers an opportunity to work with diverse patient populations, including those with complex medical needs and cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's disease and dementia.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately, reporting any abnormal findings to nursing staff promptly.
• Support patients with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans under supervision.
• Maintain a safe environment by utilizing proper manual handling techniques and safe lifting practices such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Observe and document changes in patient conditions, behaviors, or symptoms in accordance with medical documentation standards.
• Assist with repositioning patients to prevent bedsores and promote comfort during overnight shifts.
• Follow infection control protocols diligently, including aseptic techniques and proper hand hygiene practices.

Skills
