Responsibilities

• Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies
• Use EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems to document care activities and health updates precisely
• Maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Engage residents in social activities and provide emotional support to foster well-being.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, social workers, and family members.
• Support residents’ participation in community outings or recreational activities when appropriate

Skills

• Proven experience in assisted living, or home & community care environments
• Knowledge of ADL assistance, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
• Familiarity with dementia and Alzheimer's care techniques, including behavior management strategies
• Ability to operate EMR systems efficiently for accurate documentation
• Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach.
• Experience working with seniors.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and families.
