Overview

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Bilingual Skilled Caregiver to join our team. This vital role involves providing high-quality, culturally sensitive care to diverse clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong caregiving skills, experience working with individuals with disabilities or age-related conditions, and fluency in both English and Spanish to facilitate effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Monitor patients’ health status by observing vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature; report changes to supervisory staff promptly.
• Support clients with medication administration according to care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation.
• Utilize manual handling techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely to prevent injury during transfers or repositioning.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces.
• Document care activities accurately in compliance with agency policies and coordinate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient support.
