Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
• Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems
• Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care strategies and behavior management techniques
• Operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts and perform manual handling tasks safely to prevent injury
• Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas, adhering to health and safety standards

Requirements

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred
• Knowledge of geriatrics, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and long-term care practices
• Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring personal support
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as medication administration or behavior management are a plus
