Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, elderly support, or working with individuals with disabilities. This role involves delivering personalized care to promote independence, safety, and well-being, while maintaining a respectful and empathetic approach. Experience in various care settings such as assisted living, nursing homes, or home health is highly valued. Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and observe patient conditions, including vital signs and behavioral changes
• Medication reminders
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
• Support clients with memory care needs such as Alzheimer’s or dementia through specialized techniques
• Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling devices safely
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and patient progress
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks like cleaning to ensure a safe and comfortable environment
• Support clients during outings or community activities as needed
• Follow all safety protocols including first aid procedures and emergency response plans

Skills

• Proven experience in group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, or home health care environments
• Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in condition or behavior
• Knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer’s care
• Ability to assist with complex mobility tasks using equipment like Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques
