Caregiver/ Senior Home Care Aide

Immediate Day & Evening Shifts Available!

We are urgently seeking a compassionate, dependable Caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a female client in Richlands, NC.

Our client has dementia, so previous hands-on dementia care experience is required. We are looking for someone who understands the unique needs of individuals living with dementia and can provide patient, compassionate, and person-centered care while promoting safety, comfort, and dignity.

Responsibilities Include

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement
• Redirect and support the client using dementia care techniques
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Assist with mobility and ambulation
• Perform light housekeeping
• Provide medication reminders
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition
• Complete accurate documentation of care provided

Available Shifts

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM M, Th, F and Sat, Sun
• Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Tue and Wed
• Overnight Shift: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM Tue and Wed

Requirements

• Previous dementia caregiving experience is required
• Home care, assisted living, memory care, or skilled nursing experience preferred
• Patient, dependable, and compassionate
• Excellent communication skills
• Reliable transportation
