Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to female client in her home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient well-being, with experience in personal care, health monitoring, and creating a safe, comfortable environment. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents and clients through attentive care, emotional support, and diligent adherence to care plans.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
  • Monitor and document vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability.
  • Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration following HIPAA regulations and care plans.
  • Support patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease through specialized memory care techniques and patience.
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and individual preferences while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.
  • Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's <PERSON> to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance.
  • Observe patient conditions closely, report changes promptly, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to update care plans.
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to sanitation standards.
  • Engage in compassionate social interaction to promote emotional well-being and social engagement among residents or clients.

Experience

  • Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home health environments is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration.
  • Experience working with individuals with dementia is preferred.
