Duties

• Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature, and oxygen saturation levels to support accurate medical assessments.
• Support medication administration under supervision in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
• Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, ensuring their safety and comfort through memory care techniques.
• Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures such as catheter care or wound management to prevent infection.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks, ensuring compliance with privacy laws.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care settings such as ICU, emergency medicine, or trauma centers to deliver timely patient service.
