Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive patient observation to monitor health status and identify any changes requiring intervention
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Administer medications accurately following home healthcare regulations and medical documentation protocols
• Perform vital signs assessments including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature readings
• Support clients with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, hospice support, and end-of-life assistance
• Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient information securely and efficiently
• Utilize equipment like Hoyer lifts and perform catheter care while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA privacy standards
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to promote a safe living environment
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to enhance overall quality of life for clients
• Follow safety procedures including first aid and basic life support (CPR), especially during emergencies or incidents
