• Provide direct support with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques
• Monitor residents’ vital signs, observe patient conditions, and report any changes promptly to healthcare professionals
• Assist with medication administration following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal service to promote health and enjoyment
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring infection control protocols are followed
• Support residents with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer’s by implementing memory care strategies and engaging in meaningful activities
• Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and assist in developing or updating personalized care plans

Skills

• Proven experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments
