Duties

• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary
• Administer medications following medical documentation protocols and home healthcare regulations under supervision or as authorized
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe environment for patients
• Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality and privacy at all times

Experience

• Prior experience working as a Home Health Aide or in assisted living facilities is preferred but will train.
• Knowledge of home health regulations and best practices for patient safety and infection control
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks such as transferring patients using Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices
• Strong caregiving skills complemented by excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and family members
