Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and observe for any changes in health status or behavior, documenting findings accurately in care plans
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when needed
• Administer medications following prescribed schedules and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
• Support clients with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer’s disease or dementia by implementing memory care strategies and providing engaging activities
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces
• Follow established care plans meticulously while collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable
