Live-In Caregiver

Duties

• Provide attentive personal care by assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor patient health through observation of vital signs and overall condition, promptly reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications accurately following medical instructions and maintain detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and home health regulations.
• Support clients with mobility needs using equipment like Hoyer lifts or assistive devices to promote safety during transfers and movement.
• Assist with specialized care such as catheter management, hospice support, dementia and memory care routines, and end-of-life care.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient progress and coordinate care plans effectively.

Skills

• Proven experience in assisted living or home healthcare environments with a focus on geriatrics or individuals with disabilities.
